Situated on the transitional zone where coastal land and coastal water interact on each other, coastal zone has a wealth of coastline, fisheries and energy resources and provides a strong material and energy support for socio-economic development. However, long-term high-intensity development and irrational resource utilization make the coastal zone system suffer from huge environmental pressures and ecological risk. The contradiction between economic development and the marine environment have become increasingly prominent.Scientific and reasonable analysis of coastal zone ecosystem and its risk sources can be in favor of analysis of various risk sources on the dangers of coastal zone ecosystem and controlling the main pollution sources, then protect the stability of coastal zone ecosystem and biodiversity effectively, and then provide protection for the social and economic sustainable development and the living environment improvement. Current research on coastal zone ecosystem is more focused on ecosystem health evaluation, little research is about the ecological risk assessment of coastal zone. Most of risk assessments are from the point of landscape pattern and the spatial and temporal changes of land use, lack of consideration of the ecological mechanism between risk sources and risk receptors.Considering different types of coastal land use and the complexity of ecosystem structure and other factors, this paper proposes the scoping of coastal zone corresponding to different use type of coastline, and constructs risk assessment model of coastal zone ecosystem based on the relative risk model. The model in this paper implements the space quantifying of ecological risk in coastal zone, and can be applied to the actual coastal zone ecological risk assessment to identify the regional main risk sources and risk receptors. Further it can provide reference and theoretical support for ecological risk management of coastal zone ecosystem.
