As a mountainous country,China suffers a lot from the disaster caused by the instability of natural slope and artificial slope.Why the disaster occurs and how to minimize the damage caused by the disaster has become a vital research topic that everyone concern.Considering the uncertainty of rock and soil and the complexity of slope stability analysis,And slope engineering data is huge,reuse is low,the data is difficult to make full use of information,while GIS has powerful data storage,management and analysis capabilities.Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Approach and GIS Technology will be applied in the study.The major contents of this study are as follows:1)Summarized the common approaches of slope stability evaluation used at home and abroad.Also,Introduced in detail the basic theory and analysis step of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process.2)By studying the various research results at home and abroad,the factors affecting the stability of slope can be divided into the geological factors and non-geological factors.16 factors affecting the stability of slope have been selected,both qualitative and quantitative factors are included.3)Regular grid cell and slop cell are two common evaluation cells.In order to reflect the authenticity of the slope,slop cell is applied.Using hydrological analysis method and plane curvature and shelving combination method.The latter is more in line with the real situation in the research area.4)The data collected in the research is processed and graphical as well as attribute database are established.5)The trapezoidal function is used to determine the membership of quantitative indicators,while the engineering geological analogy method and the empirical approach are used to determine the membership of qualitative indicators.Classifying the stability of index into four levels: extremely stable,stable,less stable and unstable.The classification standard is settled by referring to the specification and previous study,when its weights are set by the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process.6)Using Lizheng Slope Stability Analysis Software for numerical analysis to verify the evaluation results.It shows that it's feasible and valuable by using the FuzzyComprehensive Evaluation Approach to do the slope stability evaluation.7)Based on the establishment of a database,evaluation index system,the weight basis,Analyzing relevant fields of the attribute table in ArcGIS in order to complete the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of slope stability analyze which is based on the vector data and slope unit.
