The reuse of abandoned quarrying stopover can effectively alleviate the problem of urban land resource shortage caused by urbanization.In order to ensure the safety of subsequent buildings,it is necessary to evaluate the stability of the slope surrounding the buildings scientifically,reasonably and objective.This paper relies on the Yinshanhu Project in Xuzhou,takes the stability of quarrying stopover and slope surrounding building as the research object.Based on the analysis of engineering geological conditions of the site,the engineering geological zoning is carried out.Then,qualitative analysis,stereographic projection,theoretical calculation,numerical simulation are comprehensively used to evaluate the stability of the slopes in each zone of the site.Corresponding slope management for slope's treatment,support,site flooding and ecological restoration were proposed respectively.The research results have important application value for eliminating the hidden dangers of geological disasters in the site,ensuring the safe use of engineering buildings in the site,and restoring a good geological ecological environment.It also provides a case and reference for the construction and reuse of similar quarrying stopover.The main research results are as follows:(1)Geotechnical investigation,surveying,geological mapping,collecting regional geological data,etc.were comprehensively carried out to collect and analyze the data of stratum lithology,geological structure,surrounding environment,and human engineering activities of the study area.Then according to these data,the grade of slope safety and slope engineering investigation were determined.(2)According to the engineering geological conditions of the site,the building slope the slopes in western site were divided into three zones: Zone of quarrying stopover,Zone of exposed rock and Zone of soil-rock combination.Through analysis and calculation,the main risks in the three areas are as follows: there is a risk of collapse of loose accumulations left by quarrying in the Zone of quarrying stopover;there are uneven slopes and falling dangerous rock bodies in the Zone of exposed rock;In the Zone of soil-rock combination,there is a risk that the backfill soil will slide along the soil-rock interface or the soil will collapse locally.(3)For the Zone of exposed rock and soil-rock combination,the cutting slope treatment + anchors support scheme is mainly adopted.The unstable deposits were cut in the Zone of quarrying stopover.The design adopts the intercepting and drainage ditch way to prevent the slope of the site from the mountain flood disaster,when encountering heavy rainfall.(4)The ecological restoration of the abandoned quarrying stopover is carried out by the combination of engineering scheme and biological scheme.
