Rhus chinensis Mill.is one of the most important economic tree species in China. A lot of research has been made for its medical uses. Flavonoids were purified by complex extraction method, and the content of flavonoids in Rhus chinensis Mill. in different growth period was determined and the antioxidant activity of flavonoids was analyzed. Then the content of polysaccharide and its antioxidant activity was also studied in this paper. The results were as follow:1. The content of water and lipid were measured and analyzed with the changes of its growth. The content of water declined. The lipid increased in the beginning and then showed a declining trend.2. The content of flavonoids in Rhus chinensis Mill. was measured and analyzed with the changes of its growth. The content of flavonoids in the entire mature period showed a growing trend, and reached its zenith when the content of lipid at the peak level. The content of flavonoids increased and reached its zenith when the content of lipid at the peak level in the sample DNC.3. Compared the content variance of the lipid and flavonoids in Rhus chinensis Mill., the content of the overall trend was the same, but had no correlaton.4. Based on the extraction results of polysaccharide, we selected the best extraction conditions from the results of orthogonal experiments:solid liquid ratio 1:60, heating temperature at 70? for 4 hours, and polysaccharide yield reached 4.09%.5. The antioxidant activities of Flavonoids from Dendrobium moniliforme were valuated by scavenging activities of superoxide anion (O2-·) generated by pyrogallol autoxidation system and through the method of light reduct NBT and hydroxyl freeradicals (·OH) generated by Fenton reactio.
