In 1895, German scientist Roentgen discovered X-rays. A new vast field of physics was opened up. It is an important part that is the research on the bremmsstrahlung X-rays spectrum generated by electron beam targetingin X-rays field.Based on the research of the measurement and analysis on the x-rays spectrum at home and abroad, measurement and analysis about the x-rays spectrum are done by using HPGe detector to direct measuring and indirect measuring, in this thesis.This study includes the following aspects:1) The HPGe and CdTe detectors were calibrated by using several specific standard ?-ray sources. The energy calibration graphs were obtained.2) On the basis of accurate HPGe and CdTe detector's internal structure which are obtained by CT, the Monte Carlo model of the HPGe and CdTe detectors are established. By using Monte Carlo method, the intrinsic efficiency of the HPGe and CdTe detector was got. The curves of the intrinsic detection efficiency were given and used to determine which detector is the better one to detect the x-ray.3) The HPGe detector efficiency was calibrated by using the standardpoint sources, and then the detectors'intrinsic efficiency was calculated. The experimental intrinsic efficiency was compared with Monte Carlo intrinsic efficiency, and the relative error was evaluated.4) The Treatment and Heavy filtered X-rays pulse height spectrums of Wolfram target by using the HPGe detector were measured.5) The pulse height spectrums of the Mammography target were detected by using the HPGe detector. By using the Monte Carlo code, the bombard of the electrons to the Mammography target and the production of the Characteristic X-rays of the Mammography target were simulated. The spectrums of the Characteristic X-rays from the Mammography target was wrote into the Monte Carlo code. Then the new pulse height spectrums were obtained. The differences of three kinds of spectrums were compared. The three kinds of spectrums were pulse height spectrums, photon fluence and pulse height spectrums come from Monte Carlo.6) At last, the uncertainty in experimental methods and experimental results was analyzed.
