| Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties(WJSND)is a period with the most frequent changing regime in the history of China.In this period,successive wars torn the social structure and caused great damage to the social production.However,not corresponding to the socio-economic situation,WJ SND gained considerable mathematical development.Mathematics in this period has reached the level of the first peak of the Chinese traditional mathematics.The reason that Mathematical studies made considerable progress in such a unrest period is an important issue of the philosophy of science.In this Thesis,we first reviews the achievement,the influence and position of the WJSND mathematics.We also summed up the characteristics of WJSND mathematics from the view of research content,logical reasoning,and scientific thought.On this basis,the Thesis try to give an explanation to the reason of the first Chinese mathematic peak from the analysis of social production,socio-politics and socio-culture.We think that Social production and astronomical calendar expanded the mathematical research continent of WJSND;various social ideas,such as Confucianism,XuanXue and naive materialism promoted the mathematical thinking.We also studied the living environment of WJSND mathematician and its impacts on their mathematical research activities.Finally,from the realtion between mathematical development and society,we regard the devolpment of WJSND mathematics as a Chinese characteristics "Aleksei Kozhevnikov paradox" We also give some interpretation to this paradox.At the end of this thesis,we give some revelations to the modern Chinese mathematics from the perspective of the history of WJSND mathematics. |
