With the 3G mobile era, mobile payment has aroused widespread attention in China and abroad.Mobile wallet can not only eliminate the traditional consumption’s shortcoming such as the management of trouble and inconvenient to carry, but also give the users a fashion,a new and convenient experience.Except that, the m-wallet will change the users’ consumer behavior and habits. Therefore, how to develop the m-wallet system which is accord with Chinese needs has become the industry’s main tendency to study(in particular, telecommunications and financial sector). This study is divided into five phases,m-wallet’s users acceptance study, concept model design, concept model validate and system implementation. In the first phase, through the literature research, interviews and questionnaires, from the qualitative and quantitative point of view, the author found that there has 83.08%acceptance to the m-wallet,and the main functions which the users want are traffic cards, payment, booking tickets, accounts inquiry and so on.In the second phase, the author designs the Lo-fi prototype of m-wallet by the PowerPoint tool which is based on the results of card sorting and experience evaluation. In the third stage, the author consider the environmental impact to the mobile users,so validate the concept model in the reality and collect six scenarios and two personas. In the fourth stage, the author designs the Hi-fi prototype by Flash tools, and then evaluates this prototype through user testing. In the final phase, the author develops the system implementation use the Eclipse tools on the platform of Android which is developed by Google Company. This paper is divided into seven chapters:Chapter 1 introduces the research background and research content;Chapter 2 explains how to get user acceptance of mobile wallet and collect the functional requirements;Chapter 3 introduces the m-wallet conceptual model design;Chapter 4 describes how to verify the concept model. Chapter 5 introduces the Hi-fi m-wallet prototype design, and evaluates the prototype by iterative user testing.Chapter 6 introduces the system implementation. The final chapter summarizes this study and the future work.
