With the continuous development of the market economy and the gradual abolition of the local protection policy of building enterprises, the competition of construction enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce, and the average profit begins to fall. Faced with such a severe market situation, only to strengthen the construction enterprise project cost management, improve project management level, strengthen economic accounting, efforts to control costs; in order to ensure the quality of the premise, to achieve low cost, short period, to improve the economic benefits of the project.HC company is one of the enterprises in the central area of the construction industry project cost management is more standardized, in the company of the 18 branches, has all the implementation of unified financial management model, with the objective of the company’s project cost management system. However, there are many branch of the project cost management are extensive management model, the effect is relatively poor, the cost control is not ideal. Therefore, this paper takes HC company as a typical research object, for the construction enterprise project cost management to do a certain degree of improvement.Firstly, this paper analyzes the development background of China’s construction projects, summarizes the domestic and foreign related research, summarizes the research content, research methods and main innovation points. Then, the paper analyzes the basic theory of the construction project cost management methods, basic principles, etc..Secondly, the paper studies the status quo of the construction project cost control of HC Company, including the company’s basic situation, the status quo of the cost control, the existing problems and the factors that cause these four aspects. HC company cost control status is mainly to its project management mode and cost management mode, and pointed out that the company’s current cost control is the use of project internal responsibility and full risk responsibility contract two models, and the characteristics of these two models into a brief overview.Finally, according to the research on the above problems and factors, this paper proposes a scheme to optimize the cost control system of HC, the control process, the control content and evaluation system, which can further improve the cost control system of HC company, and the three angles: improving project cost control system,building project cost management information system, and strengthening project cost control system. This provides practical guidance for the construction enterprises to enhance the core competitiveness of the market to provide a reference.Construction project cost control is a dynamic and complex engineering, which has a strong challenge. In this paper, the construction project cost control is studied, the main purpose is to guide enterprises to establish a cost control theory, combined with the actual situation and problems to put forward a relatively stable, systematic and effective cost control system, to ensure the quality of the project, to reduce the waste of enterprises, improve the efficiency of resource use, and enhance the actual economic benefits.
