In recent years, Employee voice is a hot topic in the organization and management research. It can help managers improve organizational decision, find and stop deviationtimely. It also can protect organization from problems and criseseffectivelyin the process of development. After realizing the benefits of voiceand in order to fully mobilizes the enthusiasm of the employee voice, more and more organizations establish perfect voice channels, and create an atmosphere to encourage voice. However, can employee voice be really effective? The key lies in the superior can really adopt employee voice or not. In view of this, employee voice efficacy depends on the superior adopt employees’ voiceor not. So, the research about superior adopt employees’ voice or not is a more realistic and complex problem than the research about employee voice.However, the existing research aboutemployee voice is mainly concentrated on the study of the antecedents, and few researches on the outcome variables, especially about superior behavior of adopt employees’ voice. Therefore, according to the social theory of persuasion, leadership motivation attribution theory, we researched the internal mechanism of superior adopt voice behavior, to test the relation between employee voice and the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice, to test if the china’s supervisor-subordinate guan-xi and the western’s leader–member exchange play a different mediating role, as well as to test if the supervisor-attributed motived plays a moderating role.On the basis of literature review, the theoretical model and research hypothesis were put forward. We use the HLM6.08 software to analyze hierarchical linear regression model on 84 samples of superior questionnaire and 223 matched junior questionnaire. The main results of the analysis include:(1) Employee voice and its two dimensions is positively correlated to the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice, but compared with the inhibition voice, promotion voice will not have a more significant positive effect;(2) The two different guan-xi all play a part of themediat-ing role of the relationship between the employee voice(including its two dimensions) and the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice. In addition, the mediating effect of the leader–member exchange of the western countries is greater than that of Chinese traditional supervisor-subordinate guan-xi;(3) Supervisor-attributed pro-social motives is positively related to the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice, and supervisor-attributed impression management is negatively correlated to the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice, but they are not playing a moderating role between the employee voice(including its two dimensions) and the behavior of superior adopt employees’ voice.The research conclusions enrich the theoretical system of employee voice, and put forward some constructive suggestions. To the employees, putting forward to manage their superiors effectively, and improve the adoption rate.To the superiors, offering to take good voice and manage their subordinates effectively. To the organization, putting forward to develop voice systemand create voice atmosphere. In the end, the paper puts forward the innovations, limitations and future research prospects of this research.
