Study On The Production Efficiency And Its Affecting Factors Of Construction Industry In Shaanxi Province

The construction industry is an important industry in Shaanxi Province,it plays an important role in promoting economic and social development and the protection of employment.Production efficiency is the essential factors of the construction industry market competitiveness,it directly influences the survival and the development of construction industry.Therefore,in the increasingly fierce environment of the construction market competition,how to improve the production efficiency of construction industry in Shaanxi Province and to make the better development in the fierce competition of the market,which has become the most important problem facing the construction industry in Shaanxi province.This paper chooses industry statistics of 2005-2012 years,by combining the method of the traditional DEA model and the super efficiency DEA model,selecting the appropriate input and output indicators to construct the index system,from two aspects of horizontal and vertical to measure the production efficiency of construction industry about Shaanxi province.The results showed that:from the lateral view,compared to other provinces and cities nationwide, the 2005-2012 production efficiency of construction industry in Shaanxi province is at a low level,in the year did not reach the efficiency,pure technical efficiency is the main reason leading to the technical efficiency is invalid;from the vertical perspective,the production efficiency of construction industry in Shaanxi province shows the overall growth in 2005-2012 years,the trend in the rest of the year did not reach the level of effective without 2011 and 2012 year.Considering the measurement results,the production efficiency of construction industry of Shaanxi province overall increase year by year,but compared with the developed provinces and municipalities to slow growth in construction industry.In order to find out the influence factors of Shaanxi province construction industry production efficiency and improve the production efficiency of the construction industry in Shaanxi Province,on the basis of the measurement results and Tobit regression model the factors of the production efficiency of the construction industry in Shaanxi province were analyzed,The results show that the level of industry development and marketization is positively related to the production efficiency of the construction industry in Shaanxi Province,and the asset allocation and scientific and technological level has no significant effect on the production efficiency of the construction industry in Shaanxi province.According to the results of the analysis,in order to improve the production efficiency of construction industry in Shaanxi Province,this paper suggests that we should increase the scale of output,change the mode of economic growth, deepen the reform of the state-owned system and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
