C enterprise is a garment retail company, which is mainly engaged in clothing design and marketing. The enterprise in inventory control is now facing the problems are mainly as follows: the high cost of inventory, why the lack of reasonable market demand forecasting method and unable to make a correct market demand prediction. Lacking of communication between departments, between and stores, the information cannot be shared, so that it cannot be in a timely manner to the market respond. At the same time, with the increasing the difficulty and complexity of the prediction; Then, it cannot be identified a reasonable order quantity. The garment production of C enterprise completely outsourced to suppliers, in order apparel and stores to supply aspects. C enterprise cannot do to can not only meet the demand of the market without due to outdated caused by the loss, or due to the backlog of inventory and waste.C enterprise existing inventory status and problems were studied analysis the causes of inventory problems, respectively from the influence on inventory demand forecasting of the market and for the stores determine reasonable order quantity two aspects to start. To solve the urgent need to change the current inventory status. In the prediction of market demand, basing on literature research on the related theories, combining with the characteristics of the clothing enterprise, the enterprise clothing is divided into classic clothing and popular clothing. For the classic garments, curve fitting is used to obtain the prediction function; for popular clothing, take the grey prediction method to obtain prediction model. In the inventory control model: for the classic clothing, take the inventory control model is adopted to determine the demand. to determine the optimal ordering policy; for the fashionable clothing, the introduction of the "outdated rate" concept. By analyzing all kinds of costs related to the inventory, the optimal solution is obtained on the basis of the average cost minimization, which is a reasonable order quantity and the order period for the C enterprise. According to the optimal order cycle and the optimal order quantity and C enterprise can make correct management strategy. Under the conditions of realizing the optimization of inventory control which to achieve the overall operating cost minimum and to achieve the maximum economic benefits. The conclusion of this paper, the demand for the C brand clothing enterprises in the future to deal with the market, also has important practical significance for the reasonable arrangement of supply stores.This thesis is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction; the second chapter is theory of inventory and inventory control; the third chapter is C garment enterprise inventory control present situation analysis; the fourth chapter proposed C garment enterprise characteristics of market demand prediction model; the fifth chapter is C enterprises into vests inventory control optimization model; the sixth chapter for the contents and methods of this paper, doing a good job summary of the corresponding work.
