Supplier Selection Strategy Of Service Procurement Projects In Electricity Companies

With the global economy entering service economy era, the demand of services procurement in electricity companies has increased a lot. However, service is intangible, inseparable and not recyclable, which leads to a lot of difficulties of the service procurement and require more on the choice of its suppliers.Based on summarizing the related researches both in China and abroad, how to choose service suppliers is studied in the following order:1. Divide bidding sections 2. Confirm quantity of suppliers 3. Evaluate suppliers.A quantitative research is been done into the division of service bidding sections with mixed multi-attribute through a more scientific method—mproved fuzzy clustering algorithm, which is superior to traditional people’ s subjective judgment. It is also proved that the bidding procurement costs could be reduced and efficiency be increased with the method. Service procurement emphasizes on quality more than cost, so the model applied to determine the number of suppliers is built based on satisfaction and risks. And projection theory is used to evaluate suppliers based on the previous model. The best supplier option is made then.Combining both qualitative and quantitative methods, the supplier selection scheme of services procurement is built in electricity companies, which could effectively reduce the purchase cost, improve the supplier’s quality and bidding efficiency.
