The Optimization Research For The Quality Management Of Tent Product In H Company

Tent factory of H company is a tent factory with almost thirty years history. With the developing of the factory, the sales volume of the factory is increased stably, the workers number also increased to more than six thousand from less than one hundred at the beginning. Due to the variety of tents, the workers in different level, the quality issue of the tent factory is more and more. Base on this background, this paper is to research and find out the main problem for the quality issue and expect to find out the solution.This paper introduced the profile of the tent factory of H company and its quality O-chart. Also introduced the kinds of tents and quality level of the factory. Then analyzed the existing quality issue and its negative effect. To analyze and find out the improvement solution and control measures with the 6 sigma DMAIC tools.In DMAIC analyzing, this paper used Pareto chart to analyze the quality issue in the inspection rejection and find out the main quality issue. Then still used Pareto chart to find out the main cause for the main quality issue: poor sewing and poor taping. Used the Fishbone diagram to find out the root cause for the main quality issue: sewing speed and taping process not standardized. and then worked out the improvement measure with experiment. After executing the improvement measures after 6 months, the defect rate in inspection is decreased greatly.
