Research Of Modern Service Industry Development And Countermeasures Of Zhenjiang

With the rapid development of modern science technology and information technology, the world economy is going through from "industrial economy" to "service economy". The role of modern service industry is more and more obvious in developing of world economy. The rapid development of modern service industry improves internal structure of service industry, drives development of related industries, promotes economic development of countries, regions or cities, improves their comprehensive competitiveness. With rapid development of modern service industry, its positive effects on economic growth not only has caused the great attention of national government agencies department, but also attracted wide attention of scholars. It became a focus of attention and research from all sectors of society.In this paper, the modern service industry of Zhenjiang is the research object. Firstly, the definition of service industry and modern service industry connotation and classification, analysis the influence factors of the modern service industry. Secondly, from the modern service industry increase value, industrial structure, employment structure and each internal sector of location advantage four aspects, it analyzes current situation of modern service industry of Zhenjiang. Thirdly, according to principles of selecting evaluation index and influence factors of the modern service industry, it constructs the evaluation index system of modern service industry. Using the entropy method, it analyzes the development of the modern service industry of Zhenjiang in 2007-2014, and evaluates 13 cities of Jiangsu province in 2014. Based on the comprehensive score, cluster analysis determine the category of Zhenjiang, reveal gap between Zhenjiang and other city in Jiangsu province. Finally, the modern service industry of Zhenjiang has carried on SWOT analysis. Combined with advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges, it puts forward suggestions countermeasures to improve the development level of modern service industry.The results showed that comprehensive score of modern service industry of Zhenjiang increases year by year, and it develops strongly. But the comprehensive score ranked fifth in Jiangsu Province, it is in the area of low level of modern service industry, there is a big gap. According to existing main problems in the development of modern service industry in Zhenjiang, it puts forward some concrete countermeasures and suggestions to improve the modern service industry development level of Zhenjiang: increase urban infrastructure construction, improve the level of urbanization; improve the residents’ income level, expand consumer demand; broaden the financing channels, increase capital investment; pay attention to introduction and training of talents, and speed up the talent pool; optimize internal industries of modern service industry; promote independent innovation of modern service industry.
