| After 2000,the service industry’s contribution to the world economy is increasing.The world is transforming from an industrially driven society to a service-driven society.The transformation of the economic structure is also accelerating the innovation and development of the service industry,especially the modern service industry.The emergence of modern service industry is an inevitable requirement of the post-industrial era and an inevitable result of the development of productive forces to a certain extent.Nowadays,the importance of modern service industry is increasing day by day.Every country or region has introduced corresponding policies to support the development of local modern service industry.Its development level has become an important basis for measuring the level of social modernization.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out: "Support the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries,accelerate the development of modern service industries,and aim at raising the level of international standards." This also shows that the future of modern service industry will definitely be the key development industry in China.We choose the unique perspective of the development of modern service industry,which can not only enrich the relevant theories of modern service industry development,but also provide relevant policy recommendations for the coordinated development of modern service industry,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.We adopt a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to carry out research.We make a descriptive analysis of the development status of China’s modern service industry and finds that although the development of China’s modern service industry has achieved certain results,it still faces many problems: First,the overall development level of China’s modern service industry is still not high;It is the irrational structure inside China’s modern service industry;the third is the uneven development of China’s modern service industry.We focus on the issue of regional development imbalance in modern service industry.Since the quality of single indicators can not comprehensively and objectively reflect the development differences of modern service industry in different regions,we construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for the development of modern service industry.From the three dimensions of development scale,service level and growth potential,we analyze the development level of modern service industry in eastern,central and western China.We uses factor analysis and analytic hierarchy process to study.The results show that modern service industry in different regions is in three.There are differences in the dimensions,and the overall pattern of “East high and low west” and “East and strong west” is presented.Then,we analyze the reasons for the development differences in the eastern,central and western regions of China’s modern service industry from the aspects of economic development level,service consumption level,urbanization level,industrialization level,regional openness and government intervention level.The empirical results of the data model show that the level of economic development,service consumption,urbanization and regional openness will promote the development of modern service industry in the region.At this stage,industrialization will have a squeezing effect on the development of modern service industry.The impact on the development of modern service industries at the eastern and central levels is not significant,which indicates that the modern service industry in the eastern and central regions is highly marketized.At the same time,the research results also show that the problem of low level of urbanization and marketization in the west hinders the development of modern service industry.Finally,we propose policy recommendations for promoting the rapid,healthy and sustainable development of China’s modern service industry at the national and regional levels. |
