Chinese automobile industry has made considerable progress after years of unremitting efforts, whether the automobile production and sales, all more than developed countries, ranking first in the world. Similarly, due to the highly attention of local government, Guangxi has also get development of auto industry, some enterprises have made some breakthrough in the field of technology. In order to promote the development of automobile enterprises in Guangxi and improve the independent innovation ability, this paper studies from the perspective of enterprise resource factors in Guangxi which impact on independent innovation ability. The study mainly to solve three problems:(1) resource factors influencing the independent innovation ability of Guangxi automobile enterprises;(2) to evaluate the ability of independent innovation of automobile enterprises in Guangxi;(3) analysis of the correlation between Guangxi enterprise resource factors and capability of independent innovation.Six parts are concluded in this study. The first chapter is the introduction part, presents the main problems and reviews the literature in three aspects such as independent innovation ability in enterprises, the situation of automobile enterprise innovation and enterprise resource factor. In addition, the chapter also introduces the research content, route and methods. The second chapter introduces the theoretical basis of this study, including enterprise independent innovation theory, resource-based theory and competitive advantage theory. The third chapter analyzes the automobile enterprise independent innovation ability in Guangxi. Firstly, introduces technical achievements of Guangxi automobile enterprises in recent years according to investigation, then divides the enterprise resources which impact on innovative ability most importantly into seven aspects on the basis of predecessors’ research conclusions and experts’ advice, and analyzes the problems existing in the independent innovation combined with actual situation. The fourth chapter is the correlation analysis of Guangxi automobile enterprise resource factors and capability of independent innovation. The section constructs two models for quantitative analysis which takes 23 enterprises and questionnaire scores as the research object and the data source. Firstly, establishes the evaluation system of independent innovation ability, which is subdivided into 12 evaluation indicators, using factor analysis method to get the independent innovation ability score of 23 enterprises. After that, calculates grey correlation degree between all kinds of resources and innovative ability by using grey correlation model with innovative ability evaluation value as the reference sequence, resource score as the comparative sequence. According to the association result can be judge out which kind of resource has a marked impact on independent innovation ability. The fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions in six aspects separately from culture resources, funds, equipment, government policy resources, human resources, industry-university-research cooperation resource and innovation platform construction. The sixth chapter summarizes the main conclusions and limitations of this paper.The innovation of this article is the analysis from the perspective of resource on independent innovation ability of Guangxi automobile enterprises. On the one hand, to obtain a number of original data of resources and technology innovation with field research. On the other hand, study on the most significant resources who worked on independent innovation ability by using grey correlation model. The conclusions can reflect the status of independent innovation of Guangxi automobile enterprises and put forward corresponding proposals accordingly.
