According to Chenery’s criteria for the division of industrial economic development stage, Chinese industrial economy has reached post industrialization stage while Xinjiang is still in the advanced stage of industrialization. Industry has become an important driving force for Chinese economic development. Therefore, on the basis of previous studies, this paper will incorporate enterprise size, distribution and regional economy into a unified paradigm trying to find out the characteristics of its development. It is of great significance to the development of Chinese industrial economy according to this essay.This paper takes 2006~2014 years of 31 provinces in China and 15 prefectures of Xinjiang industrial enterprises as samples. Then the relevant research and theories of domestic and foreign scholars in the field of enterprise size, distribution and regional economic growth are summarized. Firstly, with the statistical data, the linear relationship between the size distribution of industrial enterprises and regional economic growth is preliminarily deduced, and then we put forward relevant research hypothesis. Secondly, using the rixed effect model analyze the relationship between the size, distribution and regional economic growth of industrial enterprises in China and in Xinjiang. Verifying the proposed research hypotheses, and proposing targeted policy recommendations based on different regions.Finally, the conclusions of this study are summarized as follows:(1)Enterprise size and distribution can promote regional economic growth.(2)Compared with other parts of China, Xinjiang is still in the primary stage of the industrial economy.(3)The scale and distribution of industrial enterprises in different stages are not a simple linear pulling effect on economic growth. The scale of industrial enterprises, the number of distribution is not the bigger the better.
