At the same time, in case of the rapid development of the social economy today, people are more concerned about their own health in their leisure time, including physical and psychological double aspect. Thus, the pursuit of sports, wellness, health, sports and other healthy leisure products has become mainstream. As a new form of tourism, sports and health leisure tourism is the combination product of leisure vocation and leisure and sports tourism, becoming a modern forms of tourism that people generally pursue.This paper which is focused on the hot spot of sports and health leisure tourism, is based on the definition of relevant concepts, analyzing the history and current development of domestic and international sports and health leisure tourism, digging cultural characteristics and selecting typical case to interpreting the sports and health leisure tourism development model, thus summing up the experience to provide a reference for the domestic development of Chinese-style sports and health leisure tourism. Meanwhile, Hexian, Anhui Province is chosen as a case study because the author has several field investigations into the destination, discovering that the county has a good location and is abundant of leisure vocation tourism resources, but the tourism resource utilization is not high, at the same time, the county has a single type of product, tourism development is lagging behind. It is necessary to analysis the feasibility of county sports and health leisure tourism development, giving the overall objectives and development strategies of sports and health leisure tourism development of Hexian, rinding out the most appropriate development model and giving visitors a personalized, characteristic and differentiated sports and health leisure tourism products.Based on the ample field work of Hexian, on the basis of the analysis of county’s tourism resources, demand and market, the paper will propose the development model of government-guidance, market-regulate, industry-group and special products-break through four-wheel driven in order to exploit the most suitable special products to serve the local sports and health leisure tourism development as a reference.
