| PV industry is a new industry, it has played a very important role in new energy industry which is the first important national new strategic industry in China. With the great support to PV industry by China and the start of domestic PV market, PV industry has a huge potential for development. Meantime, because the cost of PV products is still high, the PV production capacity is seriously more than the demand, and the USA and EU government take the anti-dumping to Chinese PV products, the PV industry becomes more and more competitive and as a result, the PV modules prices drops to almost the cost level; on the other hand, Chinese PV companies expand too quickly, there are big gap and problems in terms of talents, management and cash and lack long term strategic research and long term development plan.CNPV is a small-medium PV company, through research, quantitative and qualitative analysis and systematic analysis, the competitive strategy of CNPV was looked into by using the strategic and quality management theories and research approaches. PEST and five forces model are applied to study the micro environment of CNPV and the industrial competitive environment and internal environment, in addition, SO strategy needs to be implemented by SWOT analysis which leads to quality leadership Diversified Competition strategy selected for CNPV after the analysis. And in order to ensure the successful implementation of CNPV quality leadership Diversified Competition strategy, CNPV needs to take the actions including ISO9001 quality management system enhancement, Lean six sigma enhancement, HR performance management enhancement, quality culture establishment and learning organization establishment. As such, CNPV will achieve World Class Manufacturing and will survive and develop in such a competitive market. |
