Platform is a real or virtual space, which can cause or contribute to transactions between both or all parties customers. Platform business model refers to that it can connect two (or more) specific groups, providing interactive mechanism for them to meet the demand of all groups, and the business model can make a profit tactfully on the basis. Many companies will build and improve their own platform, treating it as an important strategy to obtain market competitive advantage. There are two reasons. Firstly, the platform is at the top of the industrial chain and in a favorable position in the competition, which can command the world with great initiative. Once the platform operates successfully, it will be very profitable. Secondly, if the platform is operated properly, it can realize the situation of "all-win" and "multi-win". The longer the model being operated, the more valuable we can gain.Flying Geese Mall of Huadi Industry and Trade Center selects the platform strategy as its future competitive strategy, on the basis of comprehensive analysis of the internal and external environment. Through the implementation of the platform competitive strategy, Flying Geese Mall can connect merchants and consumers these two specific groups better, providing interactive mechanism for them to meet the demand of all groups, and on the basis the business model can make a profit tactfully, in order to achieve "win-win" strategic objective.This paper focuses on the strategic issues of Flying Geese Mall’s platform competition strategy. This paper includes the following contents. Firstly, we analysis the situation of Flying Geese Mall of Huadi Industry and Trade Center, opportunities and challenges, and discusses the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of Flying Geese Mall’s platform competition strategy. Secondly, we put forward specific measures for platform competition strategy, including:designing a mechanism-"platform ecosystem"-for Flying Geese Mall, setting the "payer" and "being subsidized party" to promote the continued expansion of merchant while it can inspire the effect-" With the edge of network effects" and "cross-border network effects"; providing users with" sticky services "to attract and retain merchants. Thirdly, we create e-commerce platform of Flying Geese Mall, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for high degree of integration and synergy development of the two platforms strategy, virtual and real.Finally, the study draws the following conclusions. Flying Geese Mall’s platform strategy is necessary and feasible as its future competitive strategy. Flying Geese Mall can connect merchants and consumers these two specific groups better, and the business model can make a profit tactfully to achieve "win-win" strategic objective, through the implementation of the platform competition strategy. To create e-commerce platform of Flying Geese Mall is conducive for high degree of integration and synergy development of the two platforms strategy, virtual and real.
