Research On The Problems Of Nearby Citizenization Of Traditional Farmers

Chinese government put forward that the rate of population urbanization comes to be 60% by 2020.Which means that a large proportion of the farmers will be changed into citizens. As problems arise, such as big city disease and farmer worker’s problems, we can not only rely on the method of farmer workers’ citizenization. Speeding up the process of traditional farmers’ citizenization in underdeveloped areas can not only attract some farmers workers come back to village, but also can eliminate the difference between farmers and citizens.This thesis uses the documentary analysis method and questionnaire survey method, defines the relevant concepts about farmers’ citizenization, analyzes the necessity and practical significance of the traditional farmers’ citizenship in underdeveloped areas. In the meanwhile, the paper underlines the present situation and problems existed in the citizenization, and put forward some suggestions to these problems. Study results as follows:Firstly, this paper argues that the citizenization is to make farmers change into citizens in all aspects. It is not means that farmers must give up their land, it emphasizes that change the agriculture production methods into modern ways.Secondly, W county has achieved some successful experiences in how to promote the residents change into citizens:the new rural community, characteristic agriculture and local characteristic industry and so on. However, there are many problems in the process of citizenization:incomplete system, low economic aggregate, incomplete public service and conservative cultural values.Lastly, the paper put forward some proposals to the relevant problems. Reform the household registration system to eliminate the differences in public service between farmers and citizens. Develop characteristic agriculture and build up the new rural communities to change their production ways and lifestyles. Get rid of the conservative cultural values to make them more civilized.Most of the domestic scholars’research focuses on the migrant workers and land-lost farmers, they paid less attention to the traditional farmers’ citizenization. This paper focuses on the traditional farmers’ citizenization, it transferred the research perspectives. However, due to the limitation of my study ability, this paper only can explain some basic problems. In addition, the number of questionnaire is not enough to explain all aspects of nearby citizenization. So I hope I can deepen the relative research in the future.
