Strengthening the marketing team performance management improvement research, and improving the effectiveness of the incentive constraints, are the keys to enhancing the marketing ability. Based on the background of power equipment manufacturing enterprises and aimed to improve the organizational performance and individual performance, the paper mainly use the research methods such as literature method, interview method to introduce the framework of the performance management system, performance, the concept of performance appraisal and performance management on the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign related research in earnest.Combined with the concrete practice of performance management in the company, the paper has a comprehensive in-depth analysis to the existing problems in the incentive constraints mechanism among the company’s marketing team and a line of marketing personnel and has come a relatively complete diagnosis conclusion with the paper starting with the culture indicator set performance implementation and results of application.Based on the above research, the paper originally sets up a set of index system based on the mechanism of horse racing, which is used for performance management of the marketing team when focusing on the assessment indicators, index weight of assessment, checking evaluation standard, the performance plans, performance coaching, application, performance appraisal and performance feedback, etc. Accordingly, it sets up a set of index system, based on market contribution for the marketing personnel’s performance management. At the same time it strengthens the application of performance evaluation results to fully arouse the enthusiasm of staff and excavate the potential of employees.This improved scheme has been proven by practical application and has a good effect on the reduce of the examination between the party and the inspection party game, and it can balance the traction direction between individual and organizational performance, strengthen the integration and synergy between production and sales, and improve the effectiveness of the incentive constraints mechanism. Thus it can arouse the vitality among the marketing team and promote the organizational goals of each individual achieved goals. But there is also further room for improvement. For example, the market difficulty should be evaluated.In the evaluation process of regional marketing to eliminate the influence of different size of regional marketing performance because of the different regional market. Again to cope with the disadvantages short-term behavior existing in the annual cycle of performance management, the medium and long term strategic performance management should be implemented. The content will be further improved in future research.
