Research On Financial Support For The Development Of The Characteristic Agriculture At Yunnan Plateau

In 2013, China joined the ranks of middle-income countries. The main ways to res olve the current agricultural issue are by transforming agricultural development mode, managing structural adjustment, improving the efficiency and competitiveness of agric ulture and advancing agricultural modernization. Yunnan is a typical province where loc ated in the southwest of China. For a long period of time, agriculture is the foundational industry in Yunnan. Characteristic plateau agriculture is an outlet that Yunnan have fou nd based on the practical situation of its own.With the modern financial theory and inte gration of current materials and data, this paper analyses current situation, obstacles and causes of present characteristic plateau agriculture and financial support for characterist ic plateau agriculture in Yunnan. Empirical analysis method is also applied to construct characteristic plateau agriculture development level and the financial support system, by taking Dali,Zhaotong,Lijiang and Diqing as samples to calculate the scoring points of t wo index systems quantitatively with statistical software. In the last part, the paper provi des the relevant countermeasures and suggestion in terms of the study mentioned above.
