On The Relationship Between Industrial Agglomeration Effect And Regional Economic Growth

High-tech zone is composed of high-tech industry, which has been prevalent in the process of economic development among countries. Such as silicon valley, Route 128 in Boston, China also have several high-tech zone with good development, like Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing, Zhangjiang in Shanghai. The industrial cluster theory has become an important support to guide the development of this parks. After the high-tech industry cluster is formed, they must bring some cluster effect, such as the effect of human capital, technology spillover, and the external spillover, etc. This series of effects not only effective for the development of the high-tech zone itself, will also lay a solid foundation to the area where high-tech zone for rapid economic development.This article focus on the effect of industrial cluster and regional economic growth in this thesis, and bases on industry cluster theory to analysis industrial cluster mechanism of the influence of various effects on regional economic growth using the research methods of modern economics including literature analysis, specification analysis and empirical analysis. And using econometric analysis method and the data of xi’an high-tech zone, we make empirical analysis on the process of economic growth. On this basis, and according to the development situation of the xi’an high-tech industrial cluster, I put forward several suggestions for how to improve the high-tech industry cluster degree and to promote the effective combination between high-tech zone and regional economy.The results found that:there is a certain correlation between the Xi’an High-tech Zone Industrial Cluster variety Effects and Economic Growth in Xi’an. But the three levels to promote the regional economy is different, where the effect of the impact of technology spillover effect is most obvious, followed by the effect of human resources, and the extent of the external economic effects of promoting regional economic growth is not obvious, or even negative relationship. After the high-tech zones should ensure the development of basic technology spillover effect and the effect on human capital, pay more attention to the external economic effects.
