With the more and more intensive competition in the banking industry, how to recruit, retain and inspire the good employees becomes an important topic of human resources management in banks. Scientific staff performance appraisal method is crucial to improve the employees’ work performance, attract and retain talents, fully arouse the enthusiasm of employees, improve the bank’s core competitiveness and help to realize the bank’s business objectives. As the only agriculture policy bank of China, ADBC should design an effective credit personnel performance appraisal method to improve the overall performance and enhance the strength.Firstly, this paper introduces the relevant theories of staff performance appraisal method and the literature review, which laid a theoretical foundation of this paper. Secondly, states the disadvantages of the current performance appraisal method of credit personnel in ADBC, and analyzes the importance of performance appraisal reform for ADBC. Thirdly, based on the AHP method, combined with 360 assessment method, BSC method and KPI method, this paper designs a performance appraisal method of credit personnel in ADBC. Finally, this paper states the support systems of the new performance appraisal method.
