With the rapid progress of economic globalization, multinational group and multinational joint venture has been rapid development, which have been various overseas projects all over the world. And the overseas project operation management team is usually composed of individuals with different cultural background. But the team up with different cultural backgrounds often contains serious problems such as cultural conflicts and coordination management, seriously affect the unity of efficiency and to assist or restrict the project smoothly. Therefore, the multicultural background of cross-cultural management problem of the overseas engineering projects has become an urgent question. That is to say, under the context of diversified culture, how to make it resistance to a power, how to make all kinds of different points of view inspire into different spark and creativity, and jointly build a harmonious in a collision, collision of driver’s team, and can make each member of the project team can play a maximum work efficiency so as to realize the optimization of project performance at last.Diversified cultural background has brought many challenges to overseas engineering project management, In this background, some scholars put forward the concept of cultural intelligence on the basis of previous research, and widening the cross culture management from the point of the cultural intelligence. Most studiies Before are discussing about the based on the enterprise management level,and using the Multi-National Corporation, Sino-foreign joint ventures’ individuals as the study objects.It just have a few studies of cultural intelligence and project performance based on project management level. So this research will focus on overseas project manager and discuss the relationship between organizational culture intelligence and project performance.The main contents includes the three parts. First, sort out the current studies domestic and abroad research on the organizational culture intelligence, project performance in the cultural management field. Clear the main problem of this study, that is, the relationship between organizational culture intelligence and project performance. At the same time, the relevant theoretical literature, provides the theoretical basis for this study. Second, based on checking the existing literature, to discover the relationships between organizational culture intelligence and project performance. And select the cross-cultural adaptability as mediating role, then build relationship model of organizational culture intelligence and overseas project performance. Third, through the questionnaire survey and data analysis to verify the hypothesis of the research, and discuss the results. Through the three parts above, to verify the positive impact about organizational culture intelligence on oversea project performance, and proves the cross-cultural adaptability as mediating variables in the relationship between organizational culture intelligence and project performance. Thus, it puts forward the corresponding management suggestions on the cross-cultural management of managers in overseas projects.
