In recent years, with the vigorous development of China’s economic as well as the deepening of globalization, the automobile industry can be said that the rapid development and prosperity showing. So far, China is already the global new car production and sales in the first big market. But at the same time to see that the car industry is flourishing, the disadvantage of automotive financial services which can not be ignored. Compared with other auto industry in developed countries, China’s automotive financial services can not keep up the pace of development of the automobile industry, and its rapid development and limit certain extent. From the car in terms of consumer credit, automobile consumption credit in foreign countries accounted for about 70% of the proportion of car sales, while in China, in 2009, when the proportion of automobile consumption credit hovering at around 10%. Such a low proportion Let us clearly know, although there is much room for development in China’s auto finance market, but in the development of auto finance or inevitably there are a lot of problems.Course, GAC-SOFINCO as China’s Guangdong Province, the first automotive financial services company, which rely on the big market of China’s automobile industry, financial services for the related brand cars end customers and dealers to provide car-based GAC Group, this in promote the development of China’s automobile industry and their own progress. In the GAC-SOFINCO automobile finance company’s development, however, with our other automotive finance company, like its subject to the impact of various factors, the development also in the primary stage, whether it is in the development background or in development patterns still exist with a lot of problems.Based on this, the paper discussed mainly through review and comment on the history of the development of domestic and foreign auto finance, analysis and comparison of the gap between the development of the auto finance company in China with foreign auto finance company, and the major domestic auto finance company-GAC-SOFINCO as the main object of study, analysis of customer needs and corporate development countermeasures in order to provide the basis of some of the theoretical and practical aspects of the development of China’s auto finance, in order to promote better development.
