This paper based on the strategic management theories and the general methods of research in the curriculum, makes a general research on the strategic development ofShanghai Guanxin Group in the automobile after-market, and particularly researching the development path and strategic direction of the global auto after-market, as well as several Chinese largest auto dealer groups' development strategy. According to the characteristics of Chinese auto after-market, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics, status and development opportunities of Chinese auto sale market, repairing and maintenance market, beautifying and decoration market, the used-car market as well as the auto financial market and so on, and represents the development strategies and the questions which need to be focused on of Shanghai Guanxin Group in the auto after-market, and then clearly put forward the key areas of Shanghai Guanxin Group in the market. At the same time, according to the studies of the after-market, represents that Shanghai Guanxin Group need to gain the largest value of auto after-market's industrial chain through group operation, management upgrading, brand building, value management, mergers and purchasing, capital operation and customer information management as well as license chain and other operating and management modes.This article can be divided into eight parts: the first part introduces the purpose of the topic and the direction of research; the second is a brief introduction of Chinese auto market dealing, the challenges of Guanxin Group and the status quo of the auto after-market; the third focuses on the sale market, one area of Chinese auto after-market; the fourth mainly expresses the market of the automotive repairing and maintenance, the second area of the auto after-market; the fifth makes a detailed analysis in the auto beautifying and decoration market, the third area of the auto after-market; the sixth describes Chinese second-hand car market, the fourth area of the auto after-market; the seventh analyzes the opportunities of Chinese auto finance, the fifth area of the auto after-market; the eighth is about the strategic choice of Shanghai Guanxin Group on the face of the auto after-market's tremendous opportunities.
