Agricultural is always recognized as the primary industry and the basic industry, and it is the strategic industry for maintaining stability of the country and society. However, what concerned us is that the innovational ability of agricultural industry in our country is seriously inadequate. In period of opportunity of industry revolution and technological innovation in a new round, the innovation of agricultural industry can not be exempted. Innovation is the significant power to forester the development of economy, and the theory of industrial innovation is a branch of innovation theory. Industrial innovation included technological innovation, product innovation, management & organization innovation, market innovation and system innovation, many innovational subjects participated in it, and it is a systematic procedure which effected by many complicated factors. It is a key point for agricultural industrial innovation that how to utilize technology, products, management and market to systematically break through the industrial bottle neck and how to use combination of new production factors to revolute, upgrade and create industry.Basic theories related to innovation performance of agricultural industry are reviewed, and the thesis collects and summarizes the relative foreign and domestic literature about industrial innovation performance are sorted out, according the specific situation of agricultural industry in our country, on this basis, the concepts of innovation performance of agricultural industry are listed, and the definition employed in the thesis is proposed. Besides, analyzes the influencing subjects and factors of agricultural industry innovation. The CDM model utilized in the thesis is took for evaluating the innovation performance of agricultural industry, according the specific situation of agricultural industry in our country, a framework is constructed to analyze the innovation performance of agricultural industry and the evaluation index system is designed. The empirical part takes the innovation performance data of parts of agricultural listed companies, utilizes CDM model to test the relationship between influencing factors and industry innovation performance, and analyzes and explains the empirical result from the theory and reality. At last, the thesis gives the suggestions to forester agricultural industry innovation performance from three aspects of government, scientific research institutes and universities, and makes the conclusion and raises questions which can be explore further.The conclusions of the thesis are:firstly, the influencing subjects of innovation performance evaluation of agricultural industry are constituted by management layer, innovation layer, disseminator layer and user layer, the participating subjects includes government, scientific research institutes, universities, industrial organizations and farmers; secondly, the empirical result shows that the direct influencing factor of innovation performance is innovation output; the innovation input is the indirect influencing factor to innovation performance, Tobin Q value, scale of company, quality of labor, net cash flow and innovation performance are remarkable positive correlated; thirdly, CDM model has its superiority in researching industry innovation performance and settle the black box problem in innovating activities effectively; fourthly, government, research institutes, universities and agricultural enterprise can promote agricultural industry innovation performance from different aspects of technology, products, management, organization and system.
