Production System Carbon Sinks Calculation And Low Carbon Production Patterns Design Of The Farmers In Xiannangou Watershed

With the rapid development of modern economy, the farmers pay more attention to the ascension of agricultural output, rather than the increase in carbon emissions, the destruction of the ecological environment, soil quality decline, large agricultural pesticide residues and insufficient resource utilization, etc. Therefore, we must clear the carbon emission and carbon sink of farmers production system, farmers production management pattern evolution, and design farmers low carbon, high efficiency production model. Evolution of the farmers production and operation model were analyzed, using research accumulated material, field survey and sampling data,on the case of clearing the classification of farmers, the estimation method and projects of carbon emissions and carbon sequestration. We put forward four types farmers low-carbon production mode. Main conclusions are as follows:(1)Farmers can be divided into four types: Apple Planting Farmers, Sheep Breeding Farmers, Greenhouse Vegetable Farmers and General Type Farmers. Apple Planting Farmers use most of the time for planting, and the main revenue comes from apple cultivation. Sheep Breeding Farmers use main time to raise sheep, and main source of their income is raising the sheep. Greenhouse Vegetable Farmers use more time planting greenhouse vegetables than other farming activities, and greenhouse vegetable planting income is the main part of their income. General Type Farmers’ management level and ability, also the income are lower than the other farmers in the region.(2)Clear the average net carbon sink quantity and net income of the four types. Apple Planting Farmers are respectively 9886.61 kgC/household and 55256.67 yuan/household. Sheep Breeding Farmers are respectively 6284.35 kgC/household and 30865.74 yuan/household. Greenhouse Vegetable Farmers are respectively 13751.91 kgC/household and 43196.33 yuan/household. General Type Farmers are respectively 4246.06 kgC/household and 18733.33 yuan/household.(3)Preliminarily determines the different types of low carbon production mode. Respectively as follows: Apple Planting Farmers’ " apple industry +forestry” mode; Sheep Breeding Farmers’ "sheep breeding industry+grass industry+forestry+apple industry" mode; Greenhouse Vegetable Farmers’ "greenhouse vegetables planting+forestry" mode; and General Type Farmers integrated mode.(4)In view of the watershed development of low carbon production, put forward the following suggestions: develop carbon industry, also increase the introduction of low-carbon technologies and use; perfect the resource system chain net structure, to realize the efficient utilization of resources; optimize the investment and reduce carbon emissions; improve the quality of agricultural products and increase economic income.
