A Study Of The Mining Investment Environment Of The BRICS

Mineral resources is an important natural resources, it is a necessity of modern social development and people’s lives, and the mining industry is a capital-intensive industry, need to be invested a lot of capital in its development process. The BRICS are rich in mineral resources, but lack capital and technology which are required in the development of mining. In order to attract more multinational mining companies to invest there, BRICS need to improve its mining investment environment. Therefore, the analysis and evaluation of BRICS mining investment environment, has important theoretical and practical significance.I study the Mining Investment Environment of BRICS from three levels. The first is the theoretical level, introduces the related concepts of the mining investment environment of BRICS, and summarize and analyze the domestic and foreign document of evaluation method of investment environment, the mining investment environment, and the mining investment environment of the BRICS, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of it.The second is the level of qualitative analysis, describe the Situation of the mining investment environment of BRICS from the natural environment, political environment, legal environment, economic and social environment, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the BRICS in each sub-environment. The third is the level of empirical analysis, construct the evaluation system of the mining investment environment of BRICS, Collect data from the domestic and international authority institution, Respectively carry out the principal component analysis of the five sub-environment through SPSS software, obtain the scores and rankings of BRICS in them, the method is based on the theory,combine qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, can make more objective evaluation of the mining investment environment of BRICS.Based on the existing research literature of mining investment environment, according to the characteristics of BRIC and Mining Industry, construct the evaluation system of the mining investment environment of BRICS, obtain the advantages and disadvantages of the mining investment environment of BRICS and its sub-environment, is a major innovation of this paper. BRIC countries are rich in mineral resources, and with rapid economic development, so put the mining investment environment of BRIC together in analyzing is essential, Not only bring profit to multinational mining companies in making investment decisions, as well as provide a basis for improving the mining investment environment of BRICS.
