The similar financial mode is a kind of operation mode, which is just as commercial banks, absorbing and occupying funds from various aspects with low cost or no cost, and using these funds for long term by way of rolling cycle in order to invest or to realize their own expansion to maximize profit. The definition contains two key points:first, absorbing and occupying funds with low cost or no cost; second, obtain capital gains through the rational use of these funds.SUNING commerce was one of the earliest companies to implement the similar financial mode, and achieved its own rapid expansion and rise with the aid of it. However, along with the rapid development of the Internet and electronic commerce, SUNING commerce’s development was hit by a huge blow, and it began to transform to the Internet. In order to figure out whether SUNING commerce still continues using similar financial mode and what has changed after transformation, this paper focuses on the development of the SUNING commerce’s similar financial mode in the internet era.In this paper, firstly, the related theory of similar financial mode are introduced and summarized to provide the theoretical basis for the analysis of SUNING commerce’s similar financial mode below; secondly, according to the common financial characteristics of similar financial mode, it demonstrates that SUNING commerce continues using similar financial mode; thirdly, starting with the two key points of similar financial mode, it emphatically analyses how to absorb and occupy funds with no cost and how to obtain capital gains through the comprehensive financial strategy in the internet era; finally, from the perspective of finance, it analyses the financial situation of SUNING commerce under the similar financial mode, and draws conclusions:although there are certain risks in some degree, but in the long run, the financial situation will be improved, and certainly, some targeted suggestions are given.
