The history of artificial cultivation of edible fungi has been nearly 60 years, and the cultivation techniques have had several major changes. At present cultivation technology, deep processing, storage and refrigeration technology of edible fungi have been greatly improved, and the industrial development has continued to expand. A reasonable social division of labor in the country has gradually formed. Meanwhile, edible fungi marketing network of Gutian County also has formed at home and abroad. Gutian edible fungi product market is famous and has a high market share. The edible fungi industry has promoted the development of county economy and society, and it has become the first characteristic of the county people’s income and enriches the leading industry. However, the rapid development of current large cultivation factories all over the country has brought the enormous pressure and challenges to the traditional edible fungi cultivation. The extensive development mode of Gutian households has not adapted to the requirements of the new situation and new technology. Gutian edible fungi industry urgently needs to carry on the industrial structure adjustment and the transformation and upgrading, then it could realize its new development.Based on the deep research on the development of edible fungi industry in Gutian County, the advantages and constraints, the potential space and challenges of edible fungi industry development in Gutian County were analyzed. From the point of view of "value chain" perspective, and considering the variable factor and variable link in the increasing maturity of edible fungi industry chain in Gutian County, the measures to improve the performance were put forward. In the future, the key task is to establish six security systems, including establishing and improving the production organization, scientific and technological innovation, brand marketing, supporting services, derivative product development and elements’protection. At the same time, the county factory division of labor system covering the whole process of industry could be formed. And it is able to intensive development and cooperative innovation, then the structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading of edible fungi industry in Gutian County could be finally realized. |
