With the logistics network construction in China has gradually accelerated, the traffic infrastructure’s influence on regional economic growth is increasingly obvious. As an important part of the logistics infrastructure system, logistics channel has got more distinctive importance on the development of the regional economic and society. The optimum selection and construction of logistics channel play a crucial role in the improvement of logistics network and healthy development of the node city’s economic. And it is also important to measure the impact of the logistics channel on the economic network using appropriate methods.In this thesis we firstly describe the background of this study, and leads to the research focus. Then we research the foreign and domestic literature that are relevant to our study and find the necessary to begin our research. We define the network utility of the edge and node in the network extending the concept of the degree centrality and betweenness centrality. We take the network utility of logistics channel as the deterministic factor to consider when we make the choice. Then we propose the selection model which takes account of both strategic factor (network utility) and operational factors (construct cost, delivery time). We also put forward the algorithm by combining Dijkstra algorithm, Floyd algorithm and progressively shorter path algorithm. In addition, a numerical example is presented to verify the feasibility of the model and the algorithm. We also analyze the management insight for the real logistics network. On the other hand, in order to study the impact of logistics channel for the economic development in the network, we employ the accessibility theory as the tool. The connotation of accessibility is introduced, and its research methods are compared. According to the need of our research, we choose the distance method and gravity measurement method. Then we choose the weighted average travel time which is commonly used as the spatial accessibility index. While we also choose the economic potential accessibility and utility network accessibility that are less mentioned in the existing research as indexes to study the influence of the economic development of the network. A numerical example is conducted to analyze the difference of the economic accessibility level brought by the construction of the logistics channel in the network and quantitatively describe the influence of logistics channel for each node in the economic network.As the accelerating the process of urbanization in our country, the construction of the logistics channel will be further developed. We hope our study can provide a good reference for the construction and management of logistics network.
