Correlation Analysis Of Industrial Structure Change And Living Standards

The changes of industrial structure is an inevitable trend in China and global development is the inevitable product of rapid economic growth, this process is not only to promote the industrial structure to high-class, but also the economic development and spiritual civilization of human society has improved. Thirty-seven years since the reform and opening up, China’s economic growth which has maintained an average annual growth of 9% over thirty-four years. If the lack of adjustment among the three domestic industry, it is difficult to support and implement such a long time and high-speed economic growth, especially our country had agriculture as its pillar industries. It can be said there is no industrial structure changes China’s international status in the world today would be difficult to achieve. The industrial structure change can affect China’s international economic and the position in the world from the perspective of large, from the perspective of small it also changes residents live and work. Historical experience shows that a variety of industrial structure change and living standards development is closely linked: changes in industrial structure not only enhance the region’s ability to development, but also improved the living standard of the local people. Practice has proved that the reasonable industrial structure makes residents living better.This paper using the data from1978 to 2014, the dependent variable is the living standards of our residents which measure by Engel coefficient. The independent variable is the industrial structure change, with sophistication and rationalization of industrial structure industrial structure to represent. In data collection this paper reference to the China Statistical Yearbook and the Wind database. Firstly analysis people’s living standards and the Industrial Structure Changes’trend and binding to observe the relationship between the industrial structure changes and living standard. Secondly, through the use of data analysis software process empirical data to ensure the effectiveness of the selected data, and prepare for the next empirical analysis. Finally, through software empirical analysis, the conclusion is for the promotion of industrial structure changes can improve the living standards of our residents.Through analysis the living standards and the industrial structure changes, we found that since 1978, the Engel coefficient of our population is decreasing year by year. Empirical also found the number of hospitals and the number of higher education is not as hoped for the improvement of living standards and make many contributions.
