The Research On Cross-regional Industry-University-Research Cooperation Under Social Network Perspective

Due to regional scientific and technological resource distribution and regional economic development in China are not balanced, and technology innovation activities of agglomeration degrees higher than the agglomeration of economic activities, and the area of industry-university-research cooperation relations exist such problems as loose, underpowered, mode instability. Therefore, cross-regional industry-university-research cooperation will be existed for a long time, and seeking regional resources, technology, capital and other elements of integrated optimization become the focus of industry-university-research cooperation.Based on the perspective of social network analysis and area as the smallest unit, from the perspective of cross-regional in this paper, the key point of research is on different provinces and cities’ members of contact and exchange in the industry-university-research cooperation network. First, we introduce the regional economics related theory, and creatively apply extended Hotelling model to analyze directly and indirectly connected cross-regional industry-university-research cooperation, and from two angles of theory and empirical analysis to support that the intermediary platform important role in whole cross-regional industry-university-institute cooperation network; Secondly, we try to cast aside the economic development degree only based on the division of the classification of 34 provinces and cities in our country, but introduce the overall intensive cross-regional industry-university-research cooperation network, which provides data support and empirical support for the future cross-regional industry-university-research cooperation network construct; Finally, using linear regression method, trying to use empirical data to verify there is relationship between the regional innovation ability and the external diffusion strength of industry-university-research cooperation. It is concluded that across regional industry-university-research cooperation in our country should attach importance to regional management, give full play to the intermediary "growth pole" of the city function and " gradient propulsion and diffusion" role; To clarify the government and other intermediary platform role and clear its role in the integration of different link; To promote the regional innovation ability enhancement, promoting industry-university-research cooperation mode optimization, improving the cross-regional integration of the density and efficiency, building with China’s characteristics of cross-regional industry-university-research cooperation network diagram.
