The Inventory Optimization Of Supply Chain Management For A Company Parts Export Business

Base on the study on popular Inventory & Supply Chain Management theories, this paper analysis the supply chain environment and problems of A foreign trade company Parts exports business. Due to the Mass Varieties and Small Batches production, Agile Supply Chain is needed to meet the unsteady requirement and quick response. But after several years development, the supply chain uncertainty deceases and the main product line becomes clear. The economic and cost control requirement increases. To solve this problem, this paper raises an Inventory & Supply Chain Management solution to A company’s Parts export business. First, ABC classification is carried out to analysis the product line. Second, Customer makes inventory base on Economic Order Quantity inventory management model to Parts Category A. Third, factories produce and make inventory base on Economic Order Quantity production management model to common parts of Categories B and C. Fourth, the foreign trade A company optimizes the order and production process to special and customized parts of Categories B and C. By this integrated Inventory & Supply Chain Management model, it can meet the supply chain requirements to decrease cost, improve quality and short lead time.
