Knowledge Spillover Among Enterprises, Knowledge Management Capability And Innovation Performance

With the rapid development of China, more and more students studying abroad returned our country. Among them, there are a large number of entrepreneurial talents. They have both inherent local background and advanced technology, experience which gained from abroad. These people would become a main force for promoting social progress and innovation. In recent years, governments have issued a series of policies to support returnees start up their business. Our government started the overseas student pioneer park construction work since 1994, in order to wake up the innovation spirit of overseas students and all the people. On the other hand, many of the returnees’enterprise are newly built and knowledge intensive, which have a higher requirement for knowledge management and innovation. At the same time, Knowledge spillover between enterprises can bring more chances for returnees’ enterprise to improve their innovation performance. Therefore, our study is based on the returnees pioneer parks in Yangtze river delta, and explore the relationship among knowledge spillover, knowledge management capability and innovation performance, we hope the study can provide some development suggestions to the returnees enterprises which are in the fierce market competition environment.Our study firstly summarizes the related research in the field of returnees enterprise, then we review the related concepts and dimensions of knowledge spillover and knowledge management capability. According to the research and analysis about newly built returnees’ enterprises in Yangtze River Delta region Pioneering Parks, we obtained the following conclusions:1.Both knowledge spillover and knowledge management capability have a significant positive effect on the innovation performance.2. Knowledge management capability is a regulating variable between knowledge spillover and innovation performance.3.the positive relationship among knowledge spillover, knowledge management capability and innovation performance will not be affected by the industry, the property and the scale of the enterprise.At last, according to the results of empirical research, we proposed some suggestions to the Pioneering Parks and newly built returnees’ enterprises about knowledge spillover and knowledge management capability. Hope that government and enterprises would pay more attention to knowledge management, so that improve innovation performance, and achieve a sustainable development.
