From "six five" to "12th Five-Year", our country has emphasized the importance of industrial structure adjustment in the economic development. Adjustment of industrial structure is an important part of economic development, and in the development of economy, transportation and other infrastructure plays a very important role in guiding the development of the economy. Transportation development will increase the accessibility of goods, the new industrial germination possible, and promote the continuous improvement of the industrial structure; the change of industrial structure will cause the changes of transportation demand, and the transportation put forward higher requirements. As an important province in the eastern coastal areas of Jiangsu Province, the level of economic development has been in the forefront of the country, but its industrial structure has maintained a "second third first" sequence of long-term unchanged. Jiangsu Province occupy a favorable position in the Yangtze River Delta region, with the gradual deepening of the new round of the national reform, after logistics, warehousing and transportation demand is bound to increase, in the foreign trade of our country is more and more prominent. And Jiangsu province to seize this opportunity to achieve industrial upgrading of the industrial structure will be the next major focus of economic development. The in the review of transportation and economic development and research status of transportation and industrial structure based on, first of all draws on the transportation on the economic impact of the related theory, explore the transportation on the influence mechanism of industrial structure, focusing on analysis of the transportation and industry related products and Technology Association and investment correlation. Secondly, the evolution process and characteristics of the industrial structure, Jiangsu Province transportation transport capacity and transport structure characteristics are analyzed and the two combine qualitative grasp the change of relationship between Jiangsu Province transportation and industrial structure. Finally in the empirical research using grey relational analysis and co integration analysis of two methods are analyzed, through gray correlation analysis to calculate the traffic transportation industry and economic development in Jiangsu Province and three times between industries association degree, Jiangsu Province transportation and three industry exist high correlation, there are regional differences of:high correlation in the Southern area of Jiangsu Province transportation and the second and the third industry and the first industry association is the lowest; and high correlation in Suzhong and Subei area transportation with the first and the second industry, the tertiary industry has the lowest correlation with. Through the cointegration analysis method to find between the Jiangsu Province transportation and three industries there is a long-term equilibrium relationship and also through the Granger causality analysis found that Jiangsu Province transportation and impact on the industrial structure has a reverse conduction:Jiangsu Province transportation to the industry have a strong role in promoting, but the development of the first industry in turn can’t promote the development of transportation. Jiangsu province transportation to the second industry’s role is limited, mainly the development of the second industry to promote the upgrading of transport capacity. Jiangsu Province, the development of the transport industry to promote the development of the third industry, and the development of the third industry can promote the continuous upgrading of passenger demand, showing a form of steady development of each other.
