Study On Urban Housing Security Level In Taiyuan City

Along with the accelerating process of urbanization in China, the demand for urban housing is ever-growing. And the commodity housing price in most cities has been high,which far exceeded the capacity of low income urban residents and caused their housing dream has been still out of reach. Therefore, housing security is not only the policy focus of social security, but also the hotspot of academic research.Recently, the rapid development of housing security in Taiyuan city has played a positive role in solving the housing problems of local urban residents while there still exist lots of diffculties. In the context of the 13 th Five-Year Plan, what kind of housing security level can meet the demand of local housing security is a research direction.This paper studies Taiyuan urban housing security level through the combination methods of theoretical and empirical, qualitative and quantitative. Firstly, explains the related concepts and theories. Secondly, analyzes the status of Taiyuan housing security according to the collected information. Thirdly, analyzes driving force factors of local housing security level which includes two aspects: the analysis dimension is set to demand, supply and social environment dimension. Then determines the relationship between driving force factors and local housing security level. On this basis, calculates the Taiyuan urban housing security level in terms of demand and draw the corresponding conclusion. Lastly, analyzes the Taiyuan housing security level problems from housing security demand, supply and social environment dimension, and puts forward conductive suggestions such as improve the level of family income of urban residents, establish information management system for urban residents, guide urban residents build rational consumption concept, broaden the financing channels of housing security funds and regulate the commodity housing price appropriately.
