With the development of economy, talent has become one of the most important resources of a company. The competitions between companies are essentially the competition for talents. How to attract, train, utilize and retain talents has been a strategic problem for a company and also a key part for the company to obtain the sustainable development and competitive advantage. Nowadays the employee mobility in the financial management company is happening with increasing frequency and the talent competition is quite fierce, which has a great impact on the company’s stability and development. As the 90 generation began to enter the workplace, the new generation has an increasing proportion among the employees and their low loyalty degree has brought many problems to their companies on management. So how to motivate the new generation efficiently and retain the talent has been a big problem and challenges the managers and HR department."The new generation" refers to the young generation who born from 1980 to 1999. They grown up with the Opening-up and fast economic development as the background and has their own characters:self-centered, open minded, creative, knowledgeable. They cherish freedom, has changeable values, low loyalty degree and compressive capacity. The traditional incentive method cannot meet those new generations’ requirements whose personality is very distinctive. The management for the new generation has drawn more and more attention from the specialist and professors. The managers and HR department must get a fully understand the new generation employees and formulate the suitable motivation method, only in this way can mobilize their enthusiasm and promote the development of the company.This paper has takes a reference to domestic and foreign scholars’ research results, describing the characters of the new generation and the meanings for this topic and introducing the famous incentive theories from china and abroad. Then analysis the current personnel structure and characters for HT Company and analysis the satisfaction degree and demands for the staff by questionnaire investigation to analysis the existing problems of the motivation measures for the new generation employee’s by combining the present situation of HT shanghai branch. Next, the paper explains how to formulate the targeted motivation measures by combining the theories and practice, analysis the possible obstacles, and points out the deficiencies of these measures.HT company can attract talents, improve the employees’ quality and potential the new generations’ ability by optimize the Incentive Mechanism, by which can creative more value for the company and Enhance the competitiveness of the company.
