Study On The Evaluation Strategy Of Yingkou Port Competitiveness

The Yingkou port is an important port of Shenyang Economic Zone "6 + 1" mode, because of its low land transport costs as its competitive advantage.Now Yingkou Port has become the most representative of the economy of cooperativity of the transport chain of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning Economic Zone import and export trade.The government promulgated the Northeast Revitalization Planning in 2007, and then identified five industrial zones that includes Dalian Changxing island harbor industrial zone, Yingkou, Liaoning coastal industrial base(including Pan Jin shipbuilding industry base), western Liaoning Jinzhou Bay Coastal Economic Zone(including Jinzhou Xihai Industrial Zone and gourd Huludao Beigang Industrial Zone), Liaoning Dandong Industrial Park and Dalian Huayuankou Industrial Park and the coastal highway strategy.So that the construction of Yingkou port become the key point of implement strategic policy.The rapid development of the global economy, the degree of internationalization is getting higher and higher, the competition among the various ports is also increasing. If Yingkou port wants smoothly realize the development strategy, it must improve the ability of competition in ports, and reduce competitive disadvantage to Qingdao port and Tianjin port, gradually shorten the gap with the Dalian port and strive to exceed it. At the same time, speeding up the upgrading and Rizhao Port,Yan Tai port, Qinhuangdao port competitive advantage. Therefore, the study of Ying kou port in the port group competitiveness has a very important practical significance.Starting from the port competitiveness theory, expounding the factors of port competition content, characteristics and effective factors of the current situation of port competitiveness, this paper analysis the competitiveness of Yingkou port. Then we establish competitiveness evaluation index system to evaluate Yingkou port’scompetitiveness.At last,this paper puts forward related suggestions to improve the competitiveness of Yingkou port. This paper provides some references for the development of Yingkou port and also can lead the fast developing strategy of Ying kou port, strengthen cooperation with other ports, and promote the rapid development of Ying kou Economic.
