Relationship Between Absorptive Capacity And Technological Innovation

Absorptive capacity is one of the important factor leading to innovation, absorbing and digesting external resources ability stronger, enterprise innovation success probability, the higher the competitiveness is stronger (Zahra’s and George,2002). Since the advent of the concept of absorptive capacity, scholars have been using this construct analyzed many important and complicated phenomenon of organizational innovation., as an essential part of organization of a kind of ability, the ability of absorption in organizational learning, strategic alliance, technology organization of duality in the related research fields such as explanatory variables are very important. Therefore, to a breakthrough in the market competition of enterprises, in addition to improve their management and to improve their production technology, efforts to improve its absorption ability to enhance its own innovation ability makes sense.This article through to the absorption ability construct of the study on the existing system, found the limitations of existing construct on the understanding. In view of the existing limitations, this article from the three dimensions of time, space and behavior to reframe the construct of absorptive capacity, and integrating existing research, to explore the spatial dimensions of absorptive capacity and the relationship of technology innovation. The diversity of absorptive capacity is helpful for breakthrough innovation, the more the more the more specificity of absorptive capacity is more conducive to incremental innovation. In order to make this research more perfect, introducing the competitive environment as regulating factor to discuss its influence on these relationships. At the end of the paper prospects the future development direction are the concept of absorptive capacity.
