The Cultivation And Financing Of Entrepreneurial Venture A Comparative Study Of Entrepreneurial Practices In Switzerland And China

This thesis is aimed at certain problems encountered in the entrepreneurial ecosystem when viewed at the micro-, meso- and macro-levels. Attempting to analyze these problems with the related entrepreneurial theories, the thesis makes some expansion, transplant and innovation in the practical areas. This monographic study concentrates on the reality and the practice,expounds clearly the concerned entrepreneurial problems, argues about the theoretical meaning and realistic value in solving these problems, and makes in considerable degree introduction and evaluation of the research and practice in the field of entrepreneurship at home and abroad.Firstly, the thesis makes a selective review of the key theories of Entrepreneurship, emphasizing the Timmons Model of the entrepreneurial models and the GEM Framework Conditions as the evaluation tool of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The former could be served as the tool of micro analysis, and the latter the tool of macro analysis. Then one institute’s Report is introduced.Secondly, after representing respectively the conditions of the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Switzerland and China at present, the thesis discusses the similarities and differences between the entrepreneurial practices in Switzerland and China, mentioning the value points of research significance and practical significance.Lastly, the thesis details the efforts made by the Likeqiang’s government and the new trends in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Stressing especially the huge potential of the internet in the entrepreneurship and the finance, the thesis expressed great expectation toward the Chinese entrepreneurs and their endeavor.The whole monographic study is a comparative one in the framework, i.e. contrast and compare the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Switzerland and China. The study is specifically focused on the cultivation and financing of entrepreneurial ventures. As far as the analytical method is concerned, either the method of qualitative analysis or the method of quantitative analysis, or the two methods combined, is used.
