The Study On Risk Management Of Outsourcing The On-site Service Of Company D

Company D was founded in 1999, engaging in VPN service in internet industry, which demand a great number of after-sale service personnel. With the industry development, fiercely market competition, and continuously cost increasing of labor in China, Company D retain the core business of network operation and maintenance, and outsource the on-site service which is non-core business, in order to reduce the operation cost and improve the market competence.The on-site service has been gradually outsourced in 2004, but Company D did not attach importance on risk management of outsourcing the on-site service for long time, which caused a lot of issues of risk management of outsourcing the on-site service.Concentrating on outsourcing the on-site service of Company D, the paper expatiate the basic theory of outsourcing service and relevant risk management. With WBS method, outsourcing on-site service of Company D was decomposed. Using method of PFMEA, the key risk factors were identified in different phases, which help Company D to focus on those key risk factors when coping with the risks.Meanwhile, the paper raises coping method and measures of risk when Company D outsource the on-site service, which provide the operable measures to each risk faced by Company D when outsourcing on-site service. Through application of RBS, the paper conclude that there are three kinds of risk sources, that is, organization risk, relevant personnel risk, and processing risk. Combined with coping methods to risk, the paper brings the important countermeasure on risk management of outsourcing on-site service of Company D aiming at the three risk sources.Finally, combing risk analysis of strategic to outsourcing on-site service of Company D, the paper make a risk layout of outsourcing on-site service, define RMP of outsourcing on-site service of Company D, which give powerful guidance to Company D when the company manage the risk of outsourcing on-site service. The paper expatiate the training on risk management, which has important effect on building the system of risk management of Company D.
