The Influence Of Agricultural Product Export To Economic Growth

Under the background of economic globalization and trade liberalization, China’s foreign trade has entered a new period of fast development, the foreign trade development of agriculture and agricultural products have occupied an important position, and become an important content and fundamental part of economic construction. At the same time, since reform and opening up, the overall scale of China’s economy maintained a high growth rate. The development of the economy and especially the export of agricultural products that caused the attention and study of relationship between export and economic growth, therefore, the research analyzed the influence of the agricultural products export to economic growth is of great significance.Based on the above economic development environment in our country, taking Jiangsu province as the analysis object, the problem of the relationship between the surrounding agricultural exports and economic growth, on the basis of carding the related theories and research conclusions, through from Jiangsu statistical yearbook and customs related data collecting and organizing of Jiangsu province, so as to obtain the required for this article 22 areas in Jiangsu province seven years (2006-2012) of panel data, using econometric analysis method, build the model validation agricultural exports whether there is any effect on economic growth. Results show that the export of agricultural products can promote economic growth to a certain extent, but when agricultural exports more than a certain level, it not only can promote economic growth, on the contrary, may slow the growth of economic, on the other hand, the export of agricultural products regional differences also affect economic growth.
