The tourism industry as one of the largest industries in the world, and the tourism product of eco-tourism is the fastest growing segment. In the background of accelerating the construction of tourism economy in Zhejiang province,Taishun County, as a national ecological and economy is relatively backward, the development of ecological tourism has important significance to promote the rapid and healthy development of Taishun County economyIn this paper, using the SWOT research method,which analysis the current situation of the development of ecological tourism in Taishun County.compared with traditional tourism, development of eco-tourism has started late which potential is obvious.Taishun has the resource advantage, policy advantageand publicity advantage, relying on the superior of ecological environment, the abundant of tourism resources, the profundity of cultural heritagea and the obvious of local characteristics, ecological tourism has developping rapiddly in recent years at TaishunThe weaknesses and problems of eco-tourism had been analysised carefully, the major weaknesses and problems are inadequate use of resources, development factors, serious ecological tourism concept is not clear, the lack of scientific development planning, the ecological environment pollution threat increases, serious destruction of environmental resources, ecological tourism management system is not smooth and so on.The opportunities and challenges of eco-tourism had been analysised,such as, the rapid growth will bring opportunities of social and economic, the improvement of eco-tourism infrastructure, the awareness of ecological tourism is rising, the local government attaches great importance to the development efforts, development pattern of ecological tourism industry initially formed; at the same time, the ecological tourism in Taishun county is also faced with the contradiction between tourism demand for diversification, development and protection of the outstanding, tourism influence and market competitiveness is weak and other development challenges.This paper puts forward the Countermeasures of developing ecological tourism of Taishun county and suggestions, namely, to strengthen publicity and education to change the idea, scientific planning and rational development, improve the ecological tourism infrastructure, promote the overall image of the ecological tourism, training professional talents of tourism, improve the ecological tourism management system, strengthening the policy guarantee mechanism, improve the government investment support, to increase eco tourism products and line development efforts, will gradually become "ecological leisure Taishun and southern Fujian Delta" famous, well-known ecological tourist destination, offering feasible suggestions for the sustainable development of tourist industry in Taishun county.
