Management Problems And Strategies Of Iron Ore Supply Chain Management In Iron And Steel Enterprises

The development of the steel industry in the past period of time is considered to be a measure of the scale of a country’s Industrial Development. The current economic growth is facing a lot of downward pressure, the domestic iron and steel overcapacity, high cost of iron and steel enterprises, iron and steel enterprises are facing unprecedented pressure and challenges.The main cost of iron and steel enterprises in China is the purchase and transportation of iron ore.As China’s crude steel production continues to rise, the demand for iron ore also increase.International iron ore giants took the opportunity to raise prices, so that China’s iron and steel enterprises are very passive.Under current market conditions,Supply chain management in iron and steel enterprises is particularly important, and iron and steel enterprises should strengthen the management of iron ore supply chain, which can guarantee the stability of iron ore supply, which is the key to achieve lower iron ore cost.Based on the theory of supply chain management, this thesis studies the current situation and management mode of iron ore supply in domestic iron and steel enterprises,Analysis of existing problems in the existing control system,finds out the key points of improvement in the supply chain management in the future, points out that integrated supply chain model of iron ore is a new management mode for Chinese enterprises. Then by analysising A steel group case,combine the actual situation of the enterprise with the improved model, put forward some suggestions for the development of A steel group. And through the questionnaire survey, the improved model is verified to meet the needs of the enterprise status and development, It is suitable for the new management mode of Chinese enterprises, also provide some reference for other iron and steel enterprises.
