Performance Appraisal is the key link of human resource management system. The continuous development and fierce marketing competition lead a new requirement for human resource management. A company’s continuous development needs the support of human source and process, and also needs a suitable performance appraisal system to inspire its employees’ positivity and creativity. It can improve both the employee and enterprise’s performance, so that push the enterprise to reach its goal. That’s why enterprise should pay more attention to performance appraisal due to its significance.After more than ten years high speed development, A company has become an intermediate listed company with its exporting business. When facing the continuous changing at home and abroad marketing environment, as well as the fierce marketing competition, A company has focus on the mechanism action of performance appraisal, especial for intermediate department supervisors. Due to the development of the company, intermediate department supervisors are in the majority of the whole management class. They are the main force of the company and direct administrators for the grass-roots employees. They are unique manager for supervised by their upper class while supervising their subordinates. They are the company’s main connecting link and organizers. Their action can directly influence a company’s development. It needs a scientific and efficient performance appraisal system to arouse their positivity and creativity to improve their action.Therefore, it is very important for the enterprise to build a performance management system which is combined with its own culture and strong operability.Intermediate department supervisors, playing an important role in the daily operation, are the backbone of the company.In this paper, I will take the theory which have been presented by the home and abroad performance appraisal documents to expound the content and method of performance appraisal. By the current situation investigation data, we are trying to figure out the present management problems and find ways to solve them. The system analysis and the use of performance management theory can be helpful to explore the optimization of the performance management system. Based on the KPI, it is expected to promote the work of the middle management staff through the optimization of performance management, to achieve the enterprise performance and personal development harmoniously in a win-win way.
