Abstract/Summary:
The thesis discusses the basic theories of performance appraisal and clarifies the relationship between performance appraisal and organizational strategic management, and its position & function in the Human Resource Management (HRM) in an organization. The thesis emphasizes that performance appraisal is a process of continuous communication, and designs an effective and practical performance appraisal plan for the intermediate manager in Shuangyashan Power Plant according to its actual practice, which may provide the valid guarantee for the realization of the strategic target of the organization.The design of the new performance appraisal plan, On one side, provide valid guarantee for the strategic target of Shuangyashan Power Plant; on the other side, it is also the attempt that I integrate theoretical knowledge with the practice of Shuangyashan Power Plant, which is expected to offer directed and valuable experience for the reform of HRM in power plants.
